A late summer highlight (same weekend as Brill Festival); a traditional garden fête with dog show, games, stalls, cakes - and lots of tea, held in the beautiful grounds of Brlll House. Look out for posters - and please consider volunteering to help keep this village favourite going.

Occasionally catty, generally entertaining, always informative. Membership to this large but private (i.e. “closed”) group is limited to people with a connection to Brill. Recommendations for services are permitted - but strictly no advertising; there’s another Facebook Group for that.

The benefits of allotment gardening are well known and Brill Allotments personify all that is wonderful about this way of life; companionship, tranquility, creativity - and lots and lots of courgettes. Email the Secretary to get your name on the waiting list.
Funded by allotment rents and income from investments, Carter’s Charity (its official name) makes annual payments to “deserving widows and spinsters” in the parishes of Brill, Boarstall, Honeyburge, and Oakley. Working, talking and drinking tea - and building a better community. Bernwode Rural Shed meets every Wednesday, 10.30am at 7 High Street in Brill. No membership, no fees, no committment; just turn up! The group is part of the UK Men’s Sheds Association.
A local group that celebrates and nurtures Brill’s wonderful natural environment. The Group’s objectives focus on education and advice, complementing those of its sister organisation Brill Climate Action Group.
