Terms & conditions

  1. Brill Community Market is organised by volunteers of The Brill Society.  Whilst every reasonable effort is taken to promote and run the market efficiently, the organisers make no promises in terms of footfall or sales. 

  2. Please help us help you by posting the event - and your involvement - on your social media accounts.

  3. By having a stall at Brill Community Market, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to edit these terms from time to time.

  4. The organisers reserve the right to refuse to accommodate a stall that may be at odds with the ethos of the market/venue, or cause offence or distress in any way.No reason for this decision need be given.

  5. The pitch fee for a stall at the market is £15.

  6. Stallholders are responsible for arranging their own public / produce liability cover.

  7. Stallholders are responsible for completing their own risk assessment.

  8. Please supply your own table and/or gazebo.

  9. Your stall location will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis unless agreed prior to the event any requirement please make known with your application.

  10. Stallholders may set up from 9.30am. Event starts at 10.30am.

  11. There is a car park behind the Memorial Hall. Parking is on a first-come, first served basis.  Please be considerate when parking. Please do not block the road.

  12. The Brill Society is not responsible for the loss, or damage of any items before, during or after the event. Please show due care

  13. Traders are personally liable for their individual stalls. Stallholders will not hold The Brill Society liable for any damage, loss, or injury incurred while participating in the market.

  14. Every Trader is responsible for clearing their own rubbish, please bring your own bin bags and take your rubbish with you.

  15. You may appear in photos that we take at the event. If you would rather not appear in our promotional materials for future events, please tell us.

  16. Traders must adhere to all laws, policies and regulations applicable to the goods and services you plan on selling, including obtaining all licenses, permits, and approvals required to participate and sell goods at the market. This may particularly apply in reference to beauty and children’s products. The Brill Society is not responsible for any failure to comply with the law regarding your products.

  17. The Brill Society has the right to terminate or refuse any stall holder without giving a reason.

  • When you have finished, press Send and your application will be forwarded to The Brill Society.

  • Payment details will be supplied on acceptance of your application and must be complied with upon receipt and before trading. The Brill Society reserves the right to refuse refunds.
