Community CPR & First Aid Training

Back in 2025, the Parish Council organised a series of community CPR and first aid training sessions. These are no longer running but please register your interest in future classes and we will assess demand.

CPR training in Brill

After a busy 18 months, demand dried up and we are no longer running regular cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training sessions - but if you think training would be useful please complete the form below and we’ll sort something out. You can complete the form either for you as an individual or for a group or club (maximum 10 people). We will do our best to organise a session - or talk to you about borrowing our equipment to run your own training session.

Training lasts just over an hour, with plenty of time for questions and hands-on practice. We follow the community training syllabus provided by the British Heart Foundation, using individual mannikins (paid for by Haddenham & Waddesdon Community Board). Training is led by DVD instructors - with a knowledgable facilitator in attendance to answer any questions. We cover adult CPR, child CPR, and use of a public access defibrillator. Certificates are awarded when the training has been completed and follow-up information and answers to any out-standing questions will be emailed to participants a few days later.

Read more about doing CPR on the BHF website (opens in new tab).

First Aid training

In the past, we’ve organised very successful first aid courses for babysitter and grandparents, facilitated by excellent trainers from Mini First Aid (website opens in new tab) We’d happily organise similar training in the future, if there is the demand. Please get in touch using the form below.
