Oil buying co-operative for Brill and surrounding villages. The small commission paid by the supplier forms the basis of the Brill Community Fund.

Supporting community projects in Brill since 2003. Any Bernwode resident or organisation can apply, so long as their project offers a real benefit for the whole community. Read the Fund’s annual report.

Brill Community Market

Homemade cakes and preserves, genuine Brill Pasties, handicrafts and more. Every third Saturday morning (except winter months), on The Green near the church. The BPC usually have a stall, too; come and talk to us!

Alice Carter Charity

Funded by allotment rents and income from investments, Carter’s Charity (its official name) makes annual payments to “deserving widows and spinsters” in the parishes of Brill, Boarstall, Honeyburge, and Oakley.
