BRILL COMMUNITY MARKET

EVERY THIRD SATURDAY : THE NEXT MARKET WILL BE SATURDAY May 18th 2024

Brill has had a bustling weekly market for centuries; way back to Medieval times when Brill enjoyed the patronage of royalty. That market is now monthly; on the third Saturday of the month, April to September, with a break for August. Why not come along? Pick up a newspaper from Constables, pop into the Pointer Butchers, buy your free-range eggs from Mrs Furminger nearby, and wander round to The Green from 9.30am to noon for fresh coffee and a bacon roll, a chat with friends and neighbours, and a browse through a wonderful selection of quality homemade gifts and produce, pre-loved books and other delights.

Scroll on down to meet some of our regular stall holders. Check our Facebook page for more stalls and regular updates.

Interested in having a stall at Brill Community Market?

We’re keen to attract residents and local groups and good causes, as well as businesses of all sorts. Please email Hannah to tell us about your goods or service. You don’t need to make a regular commitment - and you may not even need to have your own public/produce liability; Brill Parish Council public liability insurance will cover occasional, non-profit appearances. Brill Parish Council

We’re not always sitting down on the job - but we do try to be at every community market, come rain or shine. Sometimes we have a poll to do or a particular topic to share; more usually we’re just here to listen to you - so please just come and say hello and tell us what you think we could all be doing to make Brill an even better place.

Anne’s Handmade Cards

I’ve been making greetings cards for many years now. It’s really just a hobby but (after covering my costs) I’ve raised a few thousand pounds along the way for national and local charities and good causes, including The British Heart Foundation, cancer charities, Thomley (a magical place for people of all abilities and disabilities in Worminghall) and the new Long Crendon surgery.
